Game geeks (like me) might appreciate this video of Lara Croft and the Prince of Persia doing "Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better". Bernadette Peters and Tom Wopat (I didn't know he could kind of sing) do the actual singing.
LOL, I'll check this out as soon as I have time for a slow dial-up download. I'll sheepishly admit that I still love the original first couple Tomb Raider games for the legitimate puzzles (before TR went all shoot-em-up), fantastic scenery, music, and for, um, Lara, the love of my life (if she'd just stop shooting so many innocent bears, wolves and bats.)
Who did Lara's original video game voice? It's amazing.
Gawd, I still wish the Tomb Raider movies were CG like the video intermissions in the games. That would ROCK, not to mention rocking just waaay beyond Angelina Jolie faking an English accent that's nowhere near the liquid sex of Lara's video game voice.
In the first game, she was voiced by Shelley Blond, who was the best of the original batch. Keeley Hawes has voiced the last two and she is really good, as were the last two games (Legend & Anniversary). But as long as we are on voice acting, the original Natla was a lot more fun than the new one, she was sassy.
Oh, and that video is amusing. I saw it when Anniversary came out. As to Wopat singing, both of the Duke boys had singing careers, but to my knowledge, Cooter never did.
