10 November 2007

Halloween is over. I think it's time for Bunnyhead to take off his costume.
You know what? We could do a theme around him for every festival, if at all that's possible. Say for Christmas, put a cap on his head, and the bunny sticking out from underneath it. (?)

Psst, TPS, that's not a costume. Bunnyhead always wears those pants.

More Bundudes from the past.

Oh God, no. He'd be reduced to little more than the Metachat equivalent of a porch goose.

I concur.

Ick, those geese look dreadful.
Our bunny on the other hand, looks way, way better.

Thanks for that link arse_hat; that's much better than I could've imagined him looking in his different avatars!

Actually, TPS, I was working on it before your orders came through. But then I had an emergency web job, and then visitors from the U.S. That was fun, but then I had to go to the market. Then I cooked, and after that I ate. Then I didn't feel like doing it, so I took a nap. Then I watched a silly movie with my husband and we decided not to go out. Then I had some chocolate cake, and again, didn't feel like it (something about digesting and photoshopping/uploading doesn't work for me, I guess). Then I thought about having a cup of tea, but decided not to. Then I went to bed and read as it became windy and stormy out. That was nice. Then I woke up pretty early, and there was my chance... but instead, I drank too much coffee and tried to get through level 28 of OrboxB for too long, and by that time, it was really windy, so I had to go rearrange some plants that were blowing over, and secure the shutters and outside furniture. Then I took a shower, and instead of putting on real clothes decided to stick with pajama bottoms and a tee-shirt since the husband is very sweetly doing the errands today, and it just feels like a pajama sort of day. Then I put on some music and washed the dishes... and then I finally finished the photoshopping and uploading! Now I'm hungry again.

OMG, there's a porch goose up the road from me. I had no idea it was a 'thing.'

MonkeyButter, a friend of mine in Ohio was given a porch goose as a gift. She hates them but didn't want to offend, so left it on the porch, uncostumed, and ignored it. A few months later she was approached by a few of the elderly neighbour ladies, all of whom have geese with varied and colourful wardrobes which change with the season, expressing concern that my friend's goose was ... well ... naked (and somehow, by implication, indecent).

That's hysterical, ej... it sounds like something out of one of Garrison Keillor's Lake Wobegon stories.

Hee. I love you, taz.

So glad to know those aren't exclusive to the States... (or to the suburb of Buffalo called Cheektowaga, who take lawn ornimentation to a whole new level.)

I think they are exclusive to the States, thank God, kd. I only know of them through my Ohio connections. I'd never seen them before.

I told my sister about them and she said she'd love one. With lots of different outfits, of course. I was not surprised.

When I have a house, I will have a porch goose. And plastic flamingos.
posted by ThePinkSuperhero 10 November | 15:25
I have flamingoes.

posted by bunnyfire 10 November | 15:45
TPS, your porch goose must have a stynxno hat. And your (pink) flamingo must have a tutu.

I want a porch goose.

But only if I can get a Ramones costume for it.
