GO ALREADY. I operate under the illusion that hammering my index finger on my laptop's touchpad will cause it to send data faster. That is all.

It doesn't?

Does that mean that pressing the elevator button 15 times doesn't make it arrive any faster?

Pressing the crosswalk signal 50thousand times does speed it up still, though, yes?

And I can tell you from experience that lighting a cigarette *will* summon a cab/bus.

It has been scientifically proven that punching, kicking or throwing broken machinery on the floor will make it work again. Actually, I don't recommend kicking your car though - broken toes can take a long time to heal and panel-beating is expensive. Trust me on this.
