The newest version has proven unstable to me and a lot of other people on the forums. Usually crashes the second or third year. I have reverted to the older version.. Though no z-axis and all the other goodies :(
Weird. I haven't had any problems besides being crushingly slow until I disabled temperature and weather.
However, I have refrained from doing crash-prone things, like building a well and the sew images thing.
Lucky you :) A lot of things I find annoying in the old versions has been corrected now, so I'm anxiously waiting for them to release a bugfixing version. Otherwise I might just throw a tantrum!
I just survived my first siege, which ended in my whole army being annihilated :( On the bright side, this resulted in my first (and successful!) fey mood. I now have a legendary bowyer in my fortress.
