It's not like it's the most horrific thing that is happening today, but it is so amazingly pointlessly horrific.
Bob the tortoise survived his injuries and is still living with the Sullivans.
That is good to hear.
I read a while ago about some kids who bought a guinea pig from a pet shop, tortured it, used it as a football and then gassed by holding it over a car exhaust. This wasn't a one-off psycho acting alone, it was a gang of kids who all put in a pound each to buy the guinea pig.
