Pocky part Deux: Jonmc, I tried the strawberry Pocky. It's okay. Chocolate was better. (Walmart only had two kinds, I think.)

I like the chocolate one better than strawberry. I saw pocky for 'men only' at the World Market last week. It was dark or bittersweet chotolate, I think. I need to know where to find the green tea pocky.

I'm pretty sure I can find pocky of a greter variety elsewhere around this town if I look hard enough...

(the name of the stuff makes me think of acne medication or something, though.)

It's actually pronounced 'pokey,' like Gumby's horse. I was actually fond of the banana pocky for a while.

Bunny, of there's an Asian section of your town, that'd be the best bet. Asian groceries usually stock the stuff in my experience.

If you can find it, try Men's Pocky or Marble Pocky. My favorites out of all of them because I tend to find the milk chocolate they use for pocky (or any of the fruit/milk/what have you flavors for that matter) a bit too sweet.

And a special PSA to you all. November 11 is "Pepero Day" (Pepero's a Korean Pocky knock off)...11/11, get it? So buy some Pocky for your loved ones and friends. And no, I don't work for Lotte.

What you want is the strawberry chrunch variety. It's got little nuggets of something crunchy mixed in it. My current favorite flavor is mango mousse.

There's a store in the mall that sells videos that has a wider selection of the stuff. Should I set foot in the mall I might go there-otherwise there are plenty of Asian stores around here so I just have to find the one that caters more to Japanese. (Many are run by Koreans tho I suppose they'd stock it too.)

Meanwhile I found myself at walmart again today with my mom and bought more chocolate pocky.
