gmail issues, redux I know a few of us were having trouble. I switched to the https://mail.google.com/mail/ address (the secure version), and now I don't have any problems logging in and don't seem to get stuck in the endless "loading" cycle. Thought I'd share, in case the same trick helps anyone else.
I just checked it on the web, and it's gone back to saving incoming and sent mail in conversations again.

There's a Greasemonkey script that forces the https connection when you use Gmail.

It's a good idea to go to https://www.gmail.com even if you're not having problems. If you initially use the https:// url, your entire gmail session will be handled securely, whereas if you use the usual http:// url, once your login is complete, you are returned to a normal insecure session, which means that all you mail is passed between you and google in the clear.

I haven't had problems logging in, but I have had problems with gmail manager.

Here's a patch to make it work again. Yay!

I wonder why I'm not having problems. I feel left out. And for whatever it's worth, I just click the Gmail link at the Google news site (my homepage).

I've been having trouble with forwarding messages containing images, where the images don't go through, although they are received fine. Doubt it's related, but wonder if anyone else has had this issue with GMail recently?
