He is buried in Essex. I did not know this. I think I will look for his grave one day and take a picture of it.

Simon is the only cat among 62 animals to be awarded the Dickin Medal. Other recipients include messenger pigeons, horses and dogs.

Well, that's pretty cool. I wonder how many rats that little guy must've killed!

I found a more detailed story about Simon, including a link to a map showing where his grave is. I know exactly where to find it, I was in the hospital across the road a few years ago.
