Mr Poole said he managed to escape when his Golden Retriever, called Zak, fled, distracting the cows.

He bravely turned his tail and fled! Shame on that cowardly dog - so much for man's best friend!

Lassie, Cows With Guns is one of my favourite internet things of all time. I never get tired of it.

I would add, though, that it is slightly disturbing that the cows described as 'he' in Cows With Guns all have udders.

Mine too, Essexjan! And ditto on the pronoun thing. Apparently gun-toting revolutionary cows are totally within the realm of possibility, but if they're explicitly female then, whoah, that's just crazy talk. :)
