What flavor is this [More:]
So on my way back from Canadialand I stopped at a grocery store in Strathroy, ON to pick up a bunch of schwag we can't get in the states. Among my things was a bag of All Dressed chips. I have no idea what flavor this is supposed to be. I think the bag has a picture of oil, a green onion, and a red bell pepper on it. Is that it?
Maybe it's Iraqi Omelette flavor.

I believe the all-dressed chips are a mix of the different flavours available, all the powders dusted onto one chip. The result is a unique chip experience and I have yet to meet anyone who doesn't like them (sour cream and onion OTH...bleh). Are they Ruffles brand? I have an unhealthy love of the Ruffles All-Dressed chips.

It's all of the flavors they have in the chip factory. These have been around for probably 15-20 years in Canada. The usual suspects in terms of chip flavors are: barbeque, salt 'n' vinegar, sour cream and onion, dill and (Canada's favorite!) ketchup. Different brands/batches sometimes are more heavy on one flavor or the other.

I'm just happy they haven't incorporated all the flavors I see at the store lately - curry, roasted chicken, buffalo sauce, lamb, bacon. All those flavors on top of the existing mess would be disaster.

I loved All Dressed chips when they first came out, I guess I was in 2nd or 3rd grade. Nowadays I can't really stomach them, although I'm happy for the occasional dill chip from time to time.

Is it this bag? This guys says they smell "sort of ketchupy" and the taste is onion, garlic, ketchup etc.

Lamb?
Lamb curry sounds good but in chip form?

It the kitchen sink of chips. Salt, Vinegar, BBQ spices, dill, garlic, ketchup, sour cream, onion, etc. Rumor has it a couple of folks at a chip factory decided to see what would happen if they used all the seasonings. The result was good enough to sell. I first tried them about 1978.

Interestingly, different people seem to pick out different tastes as dominant. I really taste the sour cream and onion while my girl friend finds the salt and vinegar dominant.

I really, really want to try those chips. Can you get 'em in 'merka? Trader Joe's had these fabulous goat cheese and herb chips that were just the tastiest things ever tasted, but the last time we went there weren't any. BOOOOO!

Um, I meant Iraqi b/c of the oil component. Not that it had ground up Iraqi's in it. And those freakishly freakish things are scaring me.
