Mecha Radio Transition Dear current and future Metachat radio broadcasters, please note that mudpuppie will be handing off radio administration (also known as Supreme Poobah Metachat Radio Czar) to box, so you should address future inquiries and requests for privileges to him. We'll also be having a retirement party for pupps at 9 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom (will the band kindly show up 45 minutes earlier for sound checks and meds, please?). Formal attire, masque, furrie/cosplay preferred, and do bring gifts and cash donations for the pupps, as well as non-trivial bribes for box. Thank you very much for your attention!

9 p.m... What time zone? The mudpup's on Left Coast Time with me, I think boxer's an ET (Eastern Timer) and, of course, where taz is it's already next week. The only thing worse than showing up 45 minutes early and discovering you're 3 hours late is showing up 3 hours and 45 minutes early. Anyway, me and my harmonica are bowing out of MetaMusical participation for a while due to the fact that a family of crawling insects had used it as a condo while in storage, and despite heroic cleaning-out efforts, I can't bring it anywhere near my mouth. In my place, I'll be sending over Weird Al and his accordian, but, again, please clarify the time and time zone. Thx.

Eth, sexual bribery should have been specifically mentioned in the post. Oversight! (FUCKING interns - when will they ever get it right?) Bizarre makeup is most welcome (and will probably get you backstage), but not everyone has the skillz. So.

Hmmm. There will be shrimp, and there will be balls. If the two come together in a particularly synchronous arrangement, it may not be entirely random and haphazard. Possibly.

Yeah, that taz is a hilarious joker, she is. She told me the party was LAST night, and I showed up in my special costume. The cleaning people laughed at me until they fell into their mop buckets. :(

hellbient: I'm just happy to be here. Speaking of that, it's been a little while since you broadcast, hasn't it?

wendell: I'm actually in the Central time zone--I just tend to use Eastern for my radio slots because, yeah, who lives in the CST?

eth: Why not combine the two? (Also, that shrimp ball kinda reminds me of a rat king, and not in a good way (is there any good way to be reminded of a rat king?))

i may be too weary to do truly complicated art hair, but i did get a three dollar "Goth Angel" make up kit at the store and have been picking through my halloween make up surplus. i don't think glow in the dark will show up well but i am still trying to figure out how i'm going to photograph any of this without enlisting serious help.

i think i need a Bloody Mary and tips on how to make a good one (never have before). This will help me get into some ridiculous Xena looking something or other or maybe even do it up right, like i was all ANTM.

Ok, where is the music and the party? Can i get the code keys and finally dl the software to play dj? It was just me boorfday, and i have half a head of grecian mesuda curls going on and half a bloody mary left.
Man, that mary is tasty.
i think it's the extra worchestershirechestershire.
i may wrestle myself into a strange undergarment.

It's like my teens and twenties in here, with the hairspray and makeup and consumeables, sans the half naked posse of people raiding my stuff to get ready.
