i chopped off a couple pounds of hair from the back for locks of love. Two foot and a half long ponytails about an inch thick. i was gonna wait on what to do with the rest until after halloween. Now i don't know. The rest is still annoyingly long but it's easier to deal with a third less of the mass.

I keep thinking that I should do this too since I'm in my mid-forties and am still waiting impatiently to go bald. An informal poll of my co-workers seemed to show that many of them either cut their own hair or their wives do it for them. I don't mind the $12 at Supercuts, I just never seem to find the time to get there. I'm semi-afraid that I'd poke my eye out or cut an ear off as I'm a huge klutz though.

I cut my own hair, but then using a trimmer with a #3 spacer isn't all that challenging, so I guess I can't be too proud.

Two words: buzz cut (#2 for me). I got sick of paying full price for half a haircut, bought a hair trimmer kit for the price of two haircuts and haven't looked back. We use it for my son as well, so save doubly.
