Screw TF2, Half-Life 2 episode whatever. Play PORTAL! →[More:]You wouldn't think it, but it's the flat-out funniest game of the year, and probably the best puzzle game, too. I'm glad Valve's offering it separately from The Orange Box because, frankly, the other games would have never been played on my PC or 360.

But Portal? I'm hooked. And want more. MOAR!

I'm really thinking of buying this, it sounds awesome. Any idea how it would perform on a 2.16GHz Core 2 Duo MacBook Pro? I've got a Radeon X1600 w/128MB VRAM. (Running in Boot Camp, obviously.)

aparrish, I've got a 2.8GHz (insert CPUNAME here (you'll get it when you play Portal, obviously)) PC system, with a Radeon X1650 and it plays just fine.

Listed system requirements are:
Minimum: 1.7 GHz Processor, 512MB RAM, DirectX� 8 level Graphics Card, Windows� Vista/XP/2000, Mouse, Keyboard, Internet Connection

Recommended: Pentium 4 processor (3.0GHz, or better), 1GB RAM, DirectX® 9 level Graphics Card, Windows® Vista/XP/2000, Mouse, Keyboard, Internet Connection

You've got to buy it via Steam, Eide. www.steampowered.com It's also widely available as a torrent, but it's worth the 20 bucks and hassle of Steam. Especially since we want Portal 2 -- PORTALS AND CAKE very quickly now.

Something else that's cool about this game? This is the only game I've ever played in which there is not a single male presence. You're a female. Your, um, opponent is a female. Even the gun turrets are female. Cool.
