I've whored my photostream here about 1000 times already. Is this because I'm insecure or because I'm a showoff? Neither; I just love cameras like a duck loves water. I've learnt a lot by posting photos online; there are places where people will be absolutely brutal. Not so much on flickr (where no one wants to get a bad rep) as LJ - where people have nothing to lose by telling you that your photos are complete shit and you should sell your camera.

I was kind of an early adopter with LJ, and I wish I'd had the foresight just to make a good photography blog. The fact that I wasn't good enough to do so (and didn't own a decent camera) won't stop my revision of history :-)

Sadly, all my best shots are private. I finally got too nervous about putting my kids on virtual parade and made my family set friends-only.
