Sometimes I just cannot resist fried potato goodness. Usually it's when someone reminds me of them. Like now. Thanks for the link...I think.

Street vendor food isn't fast food. It's like an authentic cultural experience, or something. It's only fast food if it's an indoor chain location with multi-state/national reach.

mmmmmmm... the French market was in town today (bog standard French produce lovingly dumped into bags by surly French people who then cheerfully demand very large sums of money for the privilege, and I love it) so I had tartiflette for lunch from the man with the big pans. mmmmm potaaaatoes, cheeeeeese, creeeeam, onions and baaaacon.
