When I was laid-off, the phrase was "included in the current resource action". Did they at least give you a good severance package?

The package wasn't great, but it wasn't insulting either. The 60 days will be a nice cushion to work on my resume and look for work.

Sorry to hear that. You have my sympathies. My organisation will be shedding one-third of the staff in the New Year and nobody knows yet who it will be. It makes for a horrible atmosphere.
