Ask Mecha: Fantasy Football/TV listings Okay, so I've got this great million-dollar idea:→[More:] a site where you could provide a list of the people on your imaginary football team, and select your media market or cable tv provider or whatnot, and then be presented with a list of opportunities to watch your dudes on the teevee. I figure we can hire somebody to code the thing, scrape all the necessary data from free public sources, then either charge a subscription fee or paper the site with ads.

But you know what would be even better? If such a site already existed (well, if such a site already existed, and it was free). Does such a site already exist? And, if not, maybe you'd like to build one, then give me a free lifetime membership?

You have to a little mental work to remember who all you have, but I find the NFL TV Distribution maps very handy (for the second year, now). It's only the Fox/CBS networks, but I only have basic cable anyhow. They do show who is playing the Sunday and Monday night games. I also kind of find them pleasing on a geeky level (see Fox's single game for this week...I dunno why, but I dig just looking them over).

Not exactly what you're talking about, but it's a handy resource.
