Yes. Yes, he was. It's a really, really good album. I saw him at The Borderline in London several years ago and bought a Bedroom Sampler EP in a lovely handmade sleeve. I sent off for one of his EPs and got an email asking if I wanted it autographed, so I said yes. The sleeve came back covered in Fionn's doodles and my name - the handwriting is the same as all the liner notes on his wonderful debut album. I saw him again last year supporting Midlake in London and he was equally good.

The latest one? Oh God, yeah, it's astounding. Also on the bill was Robert Gomez, who I'd never heard of before, but turned out to be excellent. All three artists are on the same label, Bella Union, which is owned by two of the Cocteau Twins.
