Life's a bitch, isn't it? →[More:]I have a friend, originally from the US, who's lived on Nevis in the Caribbean for several years, running an animal shelter there (she's known as The Goat Woman) while her husband ran the local hospital.

She told me a few months ago that they were moving to Grenada, and she just emailed me with details of the place that's been rented for them. Poor souls, all the upheaval of moving and having to live in such a hovel.

Ugh, I bet it's 85° and sunny, a nice dry breeze off the sea, 350 days a year. The other fifteen days probably sport 150 mph winds, 27 inHg or less on the barometer, and a 19 foot storm surge.

I guess you take what you can get.
