This post is a semi-crackpot rant that may make no sense at all. →[More:] You know those
Altell commercials? I've decided I hate that smirking little prick Chad and I like the other guys. I feel the same way about Bill in the
WaMu ads. I hate that smug yuppie prick and I kind of find the evil old bankers amusing. This would seem to be ineffective advertising, making the company icon hateable and the competitions icon likeable, but what do I know?
Anyway, I hate confident people. What most people call confident comes across to me as arrogant and pompous. I always figure that the Chads and Bills of the world are laughing at everybody else behind their backs, the lousy rats.
Inscrutable deadpan rypes give me the heebie-jeebies, too, since I can never tell whether they find me interesting or are just humoring me, since their expression never gives away anything, but I digress. The important thing is, confident people suck.
