I've come across these before but the thought of water + electricity doesn't sit well with me (~_^).

It's waterproof, and besides that, it's obviously battery-operated, not some plug-in-the-wall joint that could kill you.

But I don't know about using a blue egg next to your bed before sleep. I'd think you'd want red, like on a submarine or in a dark room; something that lets your eyes adapt to the dark and that stimulates melatonin production.
