Oh, Brother! Girls, if you want to be Beauties of Nature, just follow these simple steps. video
I couldn't watch past the sloughing off a skin. I'm glad the guy was able to behave like a human after all. Oh, brother!
I've always been a junkie for self-care and beauty books. I own tons of fashion books. They're a little hobby of mine, even if it's the more of same repetitive information. I can usually glean something useful from each book.
As a early teen I checked out the book, Pretty Girl from the library a few times. It was published in the seventies. The approach was natural beauty with great photographs. I wish I had this book now for nostalgia's sake. I loved this book, it was so well done for a book like this.
Which reminds me, I am buying Tim Gunn's book this weekend. I bought it for a birthday present recently and I just about died that I couldn't read it. I didn't want to crack the spine.
Jeez, I should read less fashion books and more proofreading.
Yes! Tim Gunn! He is hosting a new show on Bravo starting September 6, if you're into that sort of thing. I will be glued to every episode.
Another book that I saw in Barnes and Noble: Look Gorgeous Always. I hate to admit that I was tempted. Somehow I resisted. The author is English. For me, this ups the desirability factory, even if it's pure drivel. ;)
Yes, I am definitely into that sort of thing! No idea he was hosting a show....yay! Whatever it's about, I know I'll love it. I love him. I also think he's really hot ;)
We get the last season of Project Runway starting here in a few weeks. Or maybe it's the season before last. The one that just finished here was the one with Santino, Daniel V and Chloe in the final (Chloe won).
Plus we have our own version, Project Catwalk, which is also a bitch-fest. And we're 3/4 of the way through Britain's Next Top Model.
Ha! I'm glad that Instructive Voice can't see me now - hair piled on top of my head in a scrunchy, no makeup, hippie dress with no bra, and sandals. How did I get in this picture?
I loved the way he was making fun of the students for... studying. Weirdos! And the open-toed shoe bit, when the camera pans up on one girl to say in effect what couldn't be said out loud: "Look at this skanky ho! Don't be like her, ladies."
