Help my uncle find his old WWII buddy? In my 'Net-surfing career I've used all kinds of amazing "Find People" websites, but now I've lost the best ones from my Bookmarks. Help? [More:]

Does anyone have links to good sites, like maybe the impressive free one that, I think, is run by Mormons (who have an intense interest in genealogy)? www.zabasearch.com doesn't suck, but I remember better.

Thanks.
This is a crazy site, and I think half the links are dead, but it might help, whether he's USMC or not. Also, try the steps here. Here's another one.

Those are all US-centered, by the way.

And here's the LDS search.

Do you know anyone who has access to Accurint? It's a Lexis Nexis program, and a lot of newspapers use it to track people down.

Thanks, HJ and brina. I found the guy for my uncle (via ZabaSearch, oddly), but found none of my old favorite "Find People" sites. Not sure about Accurint, but it looks interesting, and I used to have access to most things LexisNexis.

My divorce hearing is at 8.30 this morning. || Three-point status update.
