As we appear to be on a cute animal theme today, I bring you Charley the Cat.
He is not like other cats.
Some very good friends of mine have a cat, Grover, who has the same condition. He's a great kitty. I wish more people were willing to adopt disabled pets.
My aunt has a cat, Wobbles, who has the same or a very similar condition. Wobbles starts off walking fine, but then her back end swings out, like the rear end of a hook and ladder fire truck out of control. She's actually adapted her tail like a squirrels' for balance. It curls over her back, flat, and she uses it like a rudder. And she's got to be at least 20 years old, now. She's had a good life, and she's a great cat.
