This late seventies track from the Great Lost Midwestern Punk Band known as The Gizmos is hilarious, brilliantly stoopid, and dead on target.
That "Dear Fuckheads" letter is the biz: "If I ever see that goddamn record in this area, I'll personally come down to Bloomington and break it over your mother-fucking heads.... The only dirty sex you bastards know about is the kind you have with your Irish-Setter."

Also: I don't mean this song as a dis on people who genuinely like prog (hell, I like some prog), but it definitely is a hilarious deflation of pretension and a wonderfully vulgar moment of big dumb fun.

What song is it? As usual, my work proxy blocked it, and I'll be damned if I'm gonna return to the scene of the crime days later.

Hey, I just felt like I might have just had a baby seizure or something. My spine went stiff and everything got fluttery for just a second. Maybe I'm just tired.

It's called 'Progressive Rock,' and it's hilarious and catchy. Next time you come by, I'll play it for you.

Cool, looking forward to it. I'm listening to Husky Rescue right now. I don't think you'd like them very much, but then again, this single is pretty great, if a little long (think Fleetwood Mac meets the Cardigans) and your tastes are nothing if not unpredictable.

Now I'm listening to Bowie, "Andy Warhol; hole as in hole." Looks a scream. Can't tell them apart at all.
