Cell phone rant. →[More:]So, for the second time since I got a cell phone last year, a mysterious charge has appeared on my bill. It's a ten dollar charge to some subscription service called "Mblox". The CSRs at Cingular have graciously removed it and refunded me my money, but I'm left wondering how it got there in the first place. They claim that if you purchase certain things through your phone (via text message, for example), that this 3rd party subscription service automatically kicks in. Thing is, I've never purchased anything with my phone, ever. So what gives? The CSR couldn't even reach this company's website today, and I'm a little worried he's going to forget to check back on it later.
This is why I still get all my bills on paper.
