Umm, who uses their real name when signing up for myspace? I'm just wonderin'.

I haven't signed up to MySpace. However, I almost always use single letters for my first and last name for all those 'free' services.

I'm with TPS. If you don't use your real name, what's the point? I don't think your real name is displayed on your public profile though.

I thought the same thing mischief. I also wonder about how myspace will deal with people who have the same name as a sex offender? Do they get kicked off?

To differentiate yourself from the sex offenders, murderers and other baddies, use your real name but NOT your middle name. These people are always known for their three-part names. ;)

I totally used my real name. In fact, I use it in all my profiles, not just when signing up. With middle initial, even.

Facebook wouldn't accept my name's prefix, though. It's "The". I was disappointed.

I used my real name, at least in my profile. I'm really considering deleting my account though, if I log in for a minute I get 3-4 spambots trying to friend me.

A teacher at the school where my wife used to work. It got kind of complicated when she had an affair with one of the other teachers (who was one of her "friends" or "contacts" or whatever they call them) and there was WAY too much information. The students knew, her husband knew, it didn't end well.
