"ask mecha" - a stupid computer question i'm looking to get a bigger hard drive for my laptop (an asus a3ac), and i'm finding myself overwhelmed...

i wanted to make sure that i was getting the correct interface type, so i went to ubuntu's hardware information utility, made a note of the make and model number (fujitsu mhv2060ah), and a quick google search came up with a manufacturer's data sheet. the drive's spec table notes that this particular hard drive is an ata-7 interface. turns out that newegg stocks this hard drive, but it's listed as an ata-6.
i'm not going to speculate as to who's right and who's wrong on this issue, although you'd figure that the manufacturer would either know what kinds of equipment they make and have tighter quality control when it comes to proofreading their literature before publishing it...
i guess my question is this: will an ata-6 drive work?
