Cheap, not icky hotel near airport in Nice, France. just need a place to stay over for an early -6:30 a- flight out Saturday. V. limited internet acces, but I,ll try to check again tomorrow or the next day. Prefer not to spend over 75euro, but realize that could be unrealistic. Thanks for being my Internet travel agent bunnies.. I have a gmail account if email is useful. Grazie.

The Ibis chain is one of the biggest in France: they tend to be cheapish & non-icky, at least in my limited experience. There is one not for from the airport in Nice: Ibis Nice Promenade des Anglais.

Campanile hotels are ok (clean, basic but have all you need, seemingly free wi-fi) - there is one near Nice airport and they're doing an offer - EUR 60 per night. Linky.

I was able to get an okay price at the Campanile, in the limited internet time I had. It was fine, and a short walk to the airport. Thanks so very much Misteraitch and Altolinguistic, you are big sweeties!
