Fantasy cover versions →[More:] Have we done this before? I don't recall. Anyway, I am fixated on hearing Metallica cover Kate Bush's "Wuthering Heights", if for no other reason than wanting to hear James Hetfield sing "Heathcliffe, it's me, Cathy / I've come home / I'm so-o-o-o- cold / let me inna your window". Seriously. I would pay top dollar to hear that, and hope to do so before I die.

Second only to that is the desire to hear Morrissey's take on "Little Rabbit Foo-Foo".

Nick Cave doing the theme to "Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood" would be worthwhile.

On preview: that'll work, richat, as long as he covers Joni Mitchell somewhere during the set.

jon, that's a great suggestion. And, bmarkey, I'm down with your suggestion too. I don't think I have the right wiring to come up with actual covers, but I'm really enjoying reading the ones posted.

And hey, look what I found: Sleater-Kinney – White Rabbit. Yeah, it’s a semi-OK quality live bootleg, but it kinda points at what they might have done in the studio with the song. I knew that idea sounded familiar.
