Geometric strangers

I live in DC, and work on Capitol Hill, so I wonder how many stranger candids I've been in. I have a rule about getting in other people's pictures--sure, I'll try to walk around you, but if you're blocking the sidewalk to take a picture of your kids in front of a building or statue or something, you get 5 seconds. I'll actually count down, semi-audibly. I figure, after 5 seconds of blocking the thoroughfare, you're being more rude than I am for ruining your shot. Plus, I must be in the background of a whole helluva lot of other shots.
