Did you see my link in the Capt Burrito thread? I came across vinyl that had a song on it you were looking for a while back. I think.

Yeah, I saw. Good looking out. I'm a little too broke to bid on anything, but thanks.

Ha!

Thanks for the song, it's a catchy one.

A song that unites a little bar I go to is "DixieLand Delight" by Alabama. There's a great band that plays 90's alternative, The Beatles, The Doors, some new stuff, a little bit of everything. But as soon as they play Dixieland Delight the entire place goes nuts. When it comes down to it, this town is filled with hicks.

Well, I'm obviously among fellow fans of lyrical profundity. So I give you the great poetic anthem of our time.

Since we're sharing sophisticated lyrics, here's one my father used to sing to me. He was such a complicated man.

Jerry Reed is awesome. I loved his appearances on Scooby Doo.

I think this may feel at home in your film festival jon. May I call you jon? The C.W. McCall tune served as inspiration for Sam Peckinpah's film Convoy [last link youtube]
