Thanks for the recipe Essexjan! [More:]
Last night I made essexjan's recipe for Mediterranean Chicken. It was served to rave reviews.

What are you having or making for dinner? I have no idea, it may be soup and sandwiches tonight.
Here's a pic. I wish we had leftovers.

I forgot to answer the question. I was gonna make couscous with feta, chicken, and canned tomatoes. But I found whole-wheat ravioli on sale at the store, as well as asparagus, so it's changed up to ravioli with chicken, asparagus spears, and onions sauteed in olive oil.

I just got back from having Chinese food with friends. I had char sui pork and egg fried rice. But I can feel a headache coming on, as always after Chinese food.

I'm glad you liked the chicken recipe, it's one of my favourites to make.

We had a roast chicken for dinner. We've been big fans of Reynolds roasting bags lately. We loaded up a bag with several chopped parsnips, a chopped onion, a handful of fresh sage and the bird, liberally coated in mole (mo-LAY, not mowl, smartass) mustard. Delish.

mrs richat and I went to a low-tech Greek restaurant with fantastic food. Then, we went to this great little place that our friend runs for coffee and dessert. Now we are home, and are going to tidy up now that the richlettes are having a sleepover at their grandparents. Yup. Good times.

Your kids are at the grandma's and you're tidying up? Come on now! It's whoopee time!

More chicken, roasted in honey key lime mustard with rice pilaf.
Or a variety of spreads and dips.

a variety of spreads and dips.

One of the best meals ever is after you've had a party and you just spend the next few meals polishing off the remaining cheese, crackers, olives, spreads and dips.

I want to make a smoothie, which is about all my tummy thinks it can handle right now. Sadly, I don't have smoothie fixings. So probably some nice brown rice and butter, instead. Bah.

Frozen pizza probably.

If you have ice, anything can be a smoothie! Make a brown rice smoothie!

Plinth raises a good point...I could make an apple-peanut butter-coconut smoothie.

Goddamn I need to go grocery shopping.

Potatoes. My tummy decided it wants boiled potatoes. I can do potatoes.

I went to IHOP with my dad (his wife is out of town for the weekend) for dinner.

I had delightful chocolate chip pancakes with butter, whipped cream AND maple syrup...because if you're going to overdo it then you should really really overdo it.

Of course since I had nothing but sweet for dinner I'm now hungry again.
