I survived my first day at the new job! But I think my head hurts because I'm trying so hard to learn.

Don't impress them too much early on or they'll expect greatness all the time and that's hard work! But you should definitely take career advice from the unemployed with a grain of salt.

The commute is pretty much nonexistent. I had time this morning to make some tea and have a smoke. Then when I left the office I was just home all of the sudden. It was neat!
