Fun fact of the day: In California, if you make more than $1 million/year, you have to pay a "Mental Health Services Tax." →[More:]I am greatly amused by this.

(My taxes are (almost) ready to be sent out. My refund buys me an external hard drive and *maybe* a trip to Boston. Yay!)

Another fun fact: in italy you can't call a girl Andrea. There's a law that forbids other sex (andrea in italy is a male name), strange and offending names. Damn, I wished to call my first child 'The Prince of All Cosmos'.

When you say "external hard drive", you're going to buy a hard drive and build an enclosure around it, right? Especially if it means you'll save enough money to come back here and visit?

I always got a kick out of the "Circuit Breaker Rebate" in Massachusetts. You get a rebate if your house has breakers instead of fuses. Except you have to be over 65 to be elegible.

Why not just call it the "Pandering to Seniors (Who are Most Likely to Vote Regularly) Rebate"
