Want! Want! Want! I am usually fairly indifferent to furniture and objects, but the coolness of this is awesome. Completely impractical, but just so stylish.
Oh MAN, do I love that!

That would look perfect in my 1960s paneled-wall house.

That fucking rocks. Yet more proof that the 50's were (aesthetically speaking) really cool.

Wow, that is neat. You could get impaled on it!

Oh my.

Ick.

But I am old enough to remember when that sort of thing was in style so take that into consideration.

So, where did this come from? Is it actually for sale?

It looks like it might attack at any moment. I'd be worried about it coming to life in the middle of the night, bent on hideous revenge.

I saw that picture a few days ago in a Wired slide show, the TV is a 1960 Kuba Komet from Germany. Here's more info on it.

Way cool. Very Jetsons.

Spectacular. If I had that in my house, I think I'd never leave.

Thanks for the additional info, octo.

Very striking. I hate it.

I love it. I'd feel like George Jetson living with it, and be looking for Jane around every corner, but still...

I want one, too.

I thought "Levittown"

I'm with bunnyfire on the "old enough to remember" though not the "ick" part. My parents and their friends were Class of '56, and every damn one of them had homes mostly decorated with such kitsch. I mostly blame Popular Mechanics, Craftsman tools and Sears.
