And I heard that her stuff was selling well (celebrity lines usually sell-out first day in NYC); not sure why the article says sales are below expectations. I had heard somewhere she already signed a deal for a 2nd and 3rd line.
you never see paintgun vandalism in NY anymore. I remember a few years back, Broadway and Houston were covered with them. Some of them were really cool, some just seemed excessive and uninspired. They even had one billboard that seemed to encourage it, with the words "fire in my belly" with a picture of a model. Ironically, no one ever got that one.
I'm not sure if they cracked down on it, or if it was just two dudes that got bored or busted.
TPS here in Chicago there were scads of it still on the racks in H&M (I myself didn't even try any of it on, but shamefully purchased other things). It may well be that it was the usual sell-out mobscene in NYC and not so much elsewhere.
I agree that the billboard looks v.v. good that way. Artful, even.
Perhaps so. I think part of the NYC mobscene is that people buy a lot of it and sell it on eBay, or buy a lot of it, and then returns the stuff after they've tried everything on.
