Hope me Bunnies! I'm having a skin issue and would like opinions from the MeChazens!
I posted a kinda similar question a while back. Maybe there's something in there useful to you?

I finally gave in and went to a dermatologist for advice and products a week or two ago. It's a work in progress. The first lotion he gave me caused yet another allergic meltdown.

I empathize, at least.

I will be no help because I have just started to use the only type of Cetaphil available in the UK and I like it. So I'll shut up now.

I'm with EJ --- I backed quietly out of that question once I realized that Cetaphil wasn't going to do it. (It's the only thing that I can use these days, so I'm a zealot.) Good luck!

Sisley has a great light moisturizer and a special gel moisturizer for around eyes and lips. La Prairie also has some amazing products as does the lighter Creme de la Mer lines. MD Formulations use to have this this amazing stuff for combination skin, kind of like a light peel ingredient application.
None of this stuff is cheap and i only get any of it from samples garnered by people in positions to get me amazing samples. i'm also not the best skin care upkeep girl but when i take care i really TCB.
i tend to need higher end products in between my total neglect and have gotten to sample all kind of rarities and oddities.
If we are talking the money is no object specific recommendations, can you think of what you might specifically be looking for?

LF, have you tried Eucerin skincare? They make a cleanser and many other products. Eucerin is known for being very gentle.

How about the plain glycerin Neutrogena bar as a cleanser? It may be too harsh, but I've always felt that it was gentle. Another idea is unscented Dove soap or a similar unscented facial bar. A tiny bit on the T-zone may be all you need. The rest of the face could be cleansed with just water and a wash cloth.

I use Purpose moisturizer, but it has SPF in it, and that may be too harsh.
