Any list of LA used bookstores that does not include A&M Book Cellars in the Valley (with the 15 for $2 room) is not to be taken seriously.

Those sound cool. I keep dreaming that I live in a city with a decent used bookstore, and it's always a real letdown to wake up and realize I don't.

I like Cliff's on Colorado in Pasadena too.

Grampa's Pickwick and the North Hollywood Dutton's sold a mix of new and used--what's now Target went to only new when they bought the store.
