i'm going to get some nori so i can make bento boxes for the Night Bus, or at least take pictures for the menu specials.

I woke up this morning thinking about that MeFi thread! My son is a born vegetarian (which is odd, given his parents' carniverous diets) and I was looking for some lunch hints. Thanks for posting this, iconomy!

That just looks like such a slippery slope. If you run short on time and just make the kid a normal lunch, the kid will probably rebel, rob a liquor store and hold the patrons hostage. Or something.

Every MeFi vegan thread is a trainwreck. It's like a batsignal to all the slack-jawed idiots on MetaFilter who apparently assume that the mere existance of a vegan is a condemnation of their lifestyle.

Regardless, the threads invariably make me feel better, since I'm the only vegan I know in real life, and that gets a little lonely.
