So I got my path reports back from my surgery. →[More:]It's handy having a husband's who is a pathologist too, because he requested the slides to look at. I have a picture of the teratoma though. mmmm nice having that inside you.
But in all seriousness, I haven't got the path reports back yet, and in fact they took an extra biopsy because they saw something that looked like a melanoma. So I'm hoping that this isn't a classic cry wolf moment. Oh wells.
No sense fretting until you get the report. I've been biospied too, and I know you'll still be nervous, but they're most likely just being cautious and giving you good care. Best o'luck!
Wow, here I was all feeling sad about my wussy gallstone that was as big as the surgeons thumb, come to find out I still rule the gross things that were once inside you game. Hope all goes well gaspode, you know how dr's are now, they test everything to the Nth degree.
I'm just really relieved. I was really horrified and creeped out when I saw that pic (OMG it has a face! And a hand!), but I didn't want to hurt the feelings of the Podey by being all "Ewwww! That was inside you?!"
