It must have brought back a lot of memories for you, edgeways. Good for that nice Flickr person.
My own blast-from-the-past Web story ... maybe a year ago, someone asked a question here about favorite snack foods, and I went Googling for a link to post in support of my favorite, the Maine Whoopie Pie. The first article that came up was from a Maine paper about people "from away" being introduced to classic Maine foods. It featured comments from two waitresses at a local hot dog joint. The two waitresses are my cousins, who I fell out of touch with and haven't talked to in over 20 years.
