Oh, Swift! poor thing seems scared out of her wits, hope she settled in well.

Awww. The kit is calling for Mom. Won't find her in the tub there. What is someone doing with a kit in the house is what I'm curious about. What's the story, damnit./

I had no idea fox kits made noises like that. And yeah, knowing why the woman had the fox would be nice.

When I was little (five or so) - we went to a huge family reunion (for my mom's side of the family) - one her aunts had a pet fox. It was the best thing EVAR. The mama fox had gotten killed and so my great aunt took over care of the survivor baby fox. Bottle feeding it, etc. She had the fox for years. It was an indoor/outdoor fox. It slept with her and followed her all over the place. It was very friendly! (And yes, I realize that it was a wild animal.) One of mom's other aunts had a pet skunk. (They were country people.)

So cute! I'm guessing it was orphaned. Yeah, I'd like a bit more background to this story, too.
