It's not just me... The latest Firefox update has hosed so many people that the support site is too swamped to be useful.
[More:]
In my case, the add-ons and themes do not merely 'not work', they completely freeze up my entire computer. Too bad, too, because I have come to completely rely on a few add-ons for applications well beyond mere browsing. Scrapbook particularly.
The biggest problem appears to be the wide variety of problems and their lack of commonality: what is broken for one person runs fine for most everyone else.

Does anyone know how I can revert to the previous version? I cannot even find that simple bit of information.

That makes me so glad that I'm too lazy to install updates when something tells me to.

Try the Firefox nightlies - you should be able to find something on there. Weird, I've installed this on 3 machines, 2 Macs and an XP, and it's been fine.

I've had trouble with the latest update cooperating with Gmail on my work machine only. Gmail will not load. I have the exact same setup at home, but no problems there. It's maddening. So I check Gmail in Safari at work. Ugh.

TheDonF: Not so weird actually. A lot of people are having no problems at all. Thanks for the nightlies link btw.

The only problem I am having is a weird font substitution thingy that no one else in the office has, but that has persisted over several updates.

I haven't had any issues here, either.

I had a weird thing happen with the new update where every time I started up Firefox the "Foxmarks" add-on's set-up would also come up - I just disabled the plug-in for now and will reinstall it later. But no real problems...

Just to be clear, is this 2.0.0.3?

After this hit my laptop it caused the keyboard to be somehow completely randomly reprogrammed. Rebooting solved that though. No other problems, yet.

(or you can navigate up a level and look for the one you prefer)

Me, I took the update without a hiccup, and I have way too many add-ons installed. Make sure that you try your current installation with safe mode (go to your Firefox start menu folder) or with a fresh profile, i.e. run "firefox.exe -profilemanager" from the command line inside your install directory. It is most likely your profile and not firefox itself that is the problem.

No problems here either.

No matter what I do, stilicho, anything having anything to do with addons is hung from the instant I initiate. I even reinstalled 2.0.0.1 and the problem is the same. I found a couple guys on the support forums with the same problems and I am following what they do.

My work machine reverted itself to 2.0.0.2 pdq, and I wondered why.
