I read too quickly and thought it said you 'sat out' your buns today. I was wondering where you put them. In my head, I was saying, "Are they on the windowsill? In the garden?"

Oh, that reminds me! Steve is doing really well. He likes to hang out in the front pocket on the bib of my overalls.

Unfortunately, he also likes falling in the toilet.

Fernando and Jack are glaring at me as I type this. They keep telling me I need to get their bun-buds made up and sent out. As soon as my knee* can handle it, I'll dig out my sewing machine.

*I'll need to stand to sew as the only place to do it is on the folding table in the laundry room.

I didn't LET Steve in the toilet, he JUMPED! Right out of my overall pocket!

I scolded him, then washed him with Chandrika soap.

He's awesome! Thanks for asking. He's a good sleeper and rarely fusses. His arrival has been surprisingly undisruptive. It's all a huge relief. We were prepared for the worst.

*goes to check that he still has all his stuffing*

I remember that new little buns tend to lose their stuffing all through the gaps in their diapers. Messy little buggers.

I am also late in bun-making. I've only sent two. Shame on me. Charles keeps on "tsking" at me.
