I found the asparagus patch! I love exploring a new garden.→[More:]I've been away for a bit, and decided to walk around the garden around my cabin and see what's there. Our Lady of Perpetual Intoxication had told me that she planted asparagus somewhere a few years ago so that was the main goal, but not the only one. I did indeed find the asparagus, badly overgrown but with one stalk already poking its head up. I also found two fruit trees I didn't realize were there, bringing the total to, I think, six. There's a huge swath of daffodils in one corner of the vegetable garden, just starting to bloom. She'd also mentioned garlic, and I found several clumps of garlic greens, as well as raspberry canes, rhubarb, tulips, crocosmia, forget-me-not, and a shwack of other plants I can't identify yet. The garden's been neglected for a year or two so I have my work cut out for me, but with so much good stuff to start with it should be very exciting. Um, if you like that kind of thing.
