Yes I am, GeckoDundee! One of the main reasons driving my immediate surgery was to get it out and me recovered in plenty of time.

The mister and I will be in Barbados for the week of April 16th (Super 8, and we will only see NZ if they end up second in their pool behind England, which I didn't think was possible after we um, stomped all over yer - admittedly 2nd string - team, but then the warmup match... gah!).

We're meeting up with 10 or so other kiwis, mostly friends of mine from grad school. We gots a house and a pool and of course are on a beach. Yay! We have tix to the games on the Tues and Saturday, the latter is the party section, crappy visibility apparently, but all you can drink and eat. Yeah!

That's excellent. I didn't realise the business end of the tournament was so far away. A beach house in Barbados and tickets to the cricket though, I'm so jealous.
