The husband and I talked about the concert briefly last month, "oh yeah, we should go." We didn't think about it since. The tickets went on sale this morning for our part of the country. I called him at work this morning, told him I bought a pair of tickets. He says, "Oh I wish you would have said something. Best Buy was having a promotion. We could have bought tickets early with our Rewards number." GROAN!

These days I don't see concerts unless I can get good seats, but I figure nosebleeds are worth it in this case. I heard people were selling their The Police membership numbers on Ebay to enable people to buy tickets early.

Are Fiction Plane supporting over there? They are in the UK and I had a small chuckle as they're fronted by Sting's son. I do think they're a pretty good group, but they've only had one album and an EP out and I can'y help feel that they'll be hopelessly unprepared for the massive venues they'll be playing.

From what I've read it looks like Fiction Plane will be the opening act for the North American leg of the tour. Sting's son? Well if that isn't nepotism I don't know what is. Glad to hear they're decent at least.

So am I in NY LoriFLA!---I was 15 in '83; I didn't try to get tickets for myself then....no one asked me along and most likely chupahija would have prevented me from going on my own.
