THIS IS A SHOUTING THREAD! [More:]THE IDIOT WHO LIVES UPSTAIRS HAS GONE OUT SOMEWHERE AND HIS ALARM CLOCK IS BEEP-BEEP-BEEPING AND THERE IS NO CHANCE I WILL BE ABLE TO GET TO SLEEP WHILE THAT ROW IS GOING ON. IT IS HALF PAST ONE IN THE MORNING FOR GOD'S SAKE. WHY THE FRIG DID HE HAVE HIS ALARM SET TO GO OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT ANYWAY IF HE WAS GOING OUT???!!!!
Possible solutions:
Break in.
Call the land lord?
Call him?
Shut off the power to the building.
Set fire to the building.

In college, my roommate would sometimes "forget" to turn off her alarm while going away on the weekend. And I would unplug it. She stopped forgetting.

He has just come home, Citrus Freak. The 'Landlord' is a property company, and we have separate power supplies inside our own flats. I just found his number and was about to call him but he's switched it off now, the dick.

My roommates from hell at Emerson(one who had the attitude she could behave however she pleased because her family was fucked up and the other who was both a Southern and Jewish Daddy's girl) claimed that one of their issues with me was my double alarm--did I hear one fucking word about this before everything collapsed? NO!!

FRIGGING AND FRICKING AREN'T QUITE THE EUPHEMISM EVERYONE THINKS! THEY MEAN FINGER-FUCK!

I have alarm-setting issues, so in college, I bought the sweetest, bestest alarm that is almost impossible to turn off (I still love it, have it, and use it now). Then, I got me a boyfriend and started sleeping weekends over at his place, and I'd rarely remember to turn my alarm off. Whoops! My roommate hated it. And even now, I'll sometimes come home from a long trip and my alarm will be going off, and will have been every morning at 3:45 am. I feel really sorry for my neighbors sometimes.

this is where lock-picking comes in handy.

you maybe leave something behind, like a feather or a shamrock, so he can just wonder what type of creature or leprechaun smashed his clock to bits.

I had a GF once who has this neighbor who was wheelchair-bound and in bad shape. Poor guy would have some long miserable nights and moan and moan. It was hard to be mad at him but for the neighbors, not fun. My hearing sucks so it was not as much of an issue for me.
