I hate those constant puddles. That one looks pretty bad. I had one in front of my house that I called the city about fixing. Took them SEVEN YEARS to get around to it. Apparently there's a hell of a waiting list.
Where I used to live, after heavy rainstorms and sea coast storms, we used to flood. My apartment was raised up a bit, so there was no danger of being flooded out. But trucks passing in the street would cause waves to come up to my steps. So I constructed a "Slow: No Wake" sign and hung it in my window.
